Mark Ashworth is the Senior Vice President Chief Information Security Officer for First Bank, a family-owned financial institution with over USD$6.8 billion in assets, nearly 70 retail locations, and full-service mortgage, wealth management, and business banking services.
Ashworth manages three teams: the Networking Support Team; the Information Security Group; and Fraud & Physical Security. With the bank now for four and a half years, he has over 30 years in the industry.
He shares his thoughts on what makes a great culture, looking after people and their money and how a family run business differs from the corporate environment.
